London Landmarks Half Marathon raises over £5,600

Our runners made history by taking taking part in the first ever London Landmarks Half Marathon, raising £5,626 for Lucy AAC. Runners took on the 13.2 mile route that weaved between London’s most iconic landmarks including Big Ben, St Paul’s Cathedral, the Shard, the Tower of London and the London Eye.

The day was equally exciting for spectators, who enjoyed live performances across the city that celebrated ‘the great, the grand and the quirky’ parts of the capital’s history.

Staff from Lucy AAC stood between Mile 10 and 11 where they cheered on runners – the perfect spot for encouraging runners to get through those last few miles.

Our runners loved everything about the day, with one stating:

The event was brilliant. It was amazing being part of such positive collective consciousness for good. The day will live in my memory as one of the best things I have ever been part of!
