Dean is a former Australian politician and banker who has been involved as a trustee with many community groups. Dean holds a pilot’s license and was drawn to support Lucy Air Ambulance for Children as it involves both of his passions – aviation and helping children in need. "I believe Lucy Air Ambulance for Children is an amazing charity. I am incredibly proud of the work we do transferring children to hospitals across the UK. You only have to see the smiles on the faces of the families we have helped to see the impact our service has had. Peter has spent his career in strategy and finance roles working with companies across Europe. The most exciting one brought him into the world of medical aviation. This sector grew on him even after he moved on with his career. Peter lives in Surrey with his wife Ivana and 3 young kids (Ema, Nina and Adam), who bring him all the joy and take up most of his free time. "As a parent and admirer of medical aviation, I was very excited when I first heard about Lucy Air Ambulance for Children. Patrick Schoennagel is a Managing Director at Houlihan Lokey. He has over fifteen years of experience in the financial services industry, specifically in the debt capital markets, as both an investor and advisor. He became aware of Lucy in 2018 through one of its fundraising events and was immediately drawn to its child-focussed mission. Patrick lives in West London and spends most of his free time with his wife, Melissa, and their two young children, John and Emilia. "I am thrilled to have connected with Lucy AAC and am excited to join as a trustee. Sadly, my family has first-hand experience with childhood medical issues, so the charity’s mission really hits home with me. Anna is an Antitrust & Foreign Investment Partner at Linklaters LLP. She lives in South West London with her husband and young son. She was drawn to Lucy Air Ambulance for Children for the incredible work that they do and was especially inspired by the stories of all the children who Lucy AAC has provided transfers for. “I am thrilled to be a part of the Lucy AAC team. Nicola is experienced in marketing, communications and business development in both the third sector and higher education. She currently works for one of Scotland's oldest children's charities, Carolina House Trust. Lucy AAC transferred her son from London to Dundee in 2017. A parent carer, she lives in Dundee with her husband and son. "I am delighted to be able to offer my support and encouragement to Lucy AAC as a Trustee. The charity steps in to help families when they are extremely vulnerable and have a child experiencing significant health challenges. I am so glad they can get children where they need to be for treatment and take some of the emotional, financial and practical strains from their parents." Email Nicola
