Since October 2017, Co-op members in Liverpool have raised £3,939 for Lucy Air Ambulance for Children (Lucy AAC) as part of the Local Community Fund initiative.
Co-op members have raised this incredible amount by simply shopping at their local Co-op stores and Funeral Care Directors. The Co-op then donates 1% of what members spend on selected own-branded products and services directly to the members’ chosen charity.
On 24th November we were privileged to be a part of the Co-op Celebration Day in Liverpool where staff, members and customers were able to celebrate the impact they have had on their three chosen charities – Lucy AAC, Daisy UK and Liverpool Six Community. Our local ambassadors, the Morrisey family, attended on behalf of Lucy AAC and really enjoyed the day!
