Kirsty goes sober for October

Kirsty is taking part in #SoberOctober for Lucy Air Ambulance for Children which means she will be cutting out all alcohol for the entire month of October.

Kirsty says: ‘They flew my nephew Rory who was born at 23 weeks 500 miles from Plymouth to Paisley, when he was too poorly to be transferred by road.  This meant that his family could all stay together and be in Scotland, where they had the support system of being near all their family.  Rory is now almost 6 months old and home with his mummy daddy and big sister Isla.

‘Each air journey costs on average £8,000.  And if I can do a little to help out then why not?! Now we all know how much I LOVE a wee wine after a long day it’s going to be quite a challenge so dig deep guys it’s for a good cause!’
