Over Christmas, our friends at IHS Markit have raised £3,164 for Lucy AAC. Their festive fundraising started at our collection at Liverpool Street Station in London where two talented violinists and a group of brilliant signers delighted passersby with their festive songs raising over £2,000 in one day.
The company then invited us to their Children’s Christmas Party where they raised over £1,131 through a raffle and we received 48 amazing entries in our children’s drawing competition. Winners from each age group of the drawing competition won a festive Lucy Bear kindly donated by Say it with Bears.
IHS Markit’s festive fundraising has raised enough to pay for a specialist doctor and nurse to look after a child on a flight along with all the essential kit bag contents.
