On 29th September, Lucy AAC Trustee Tim and his wife Helen hosted their third Charity Ball at Boxmoor Lodge Hotel, Hemel Hempstead.
Over 100 guests were welcomed in to a ‘Woodland Wonderland’ marquee where they were entertained by Judge The Spontaneous Poet and Ian Manly, a brilliant close up magician.
Following a three course dinner, guests were invited to take part in a raffle and mini auction including generously donated items from Eurostar, Joules and Côte Brasserie. The night ended with dancing and music from DJ Gary Miller. Through ticket, raffle and auction sales, the Ball raised £9,350 for Lucy AAC.
We would like to thank Tim and Helen for organising another incredible Ball. Since Tim became a Trustee in 2013, Tim and Helen have raised over £32,000 for Lucy AAC – enough to fund four life-changing air transfers. We cannot thank them enough for all they have done and continue to do for our charity.
