Comedy night raises over £4,000

On Monday 16th September over 200 people attended our Stand Up & Take Off comedy night raising £4,211 for Lucy Air Ambulance for Children (Lucy AAC).

Hosted at the world-famous Comedy Store, Stand Up & Take Off was our first-ever comedy night and we were so thankful for the nine comics who gave their time for free to support our evening.

Comedians who took part included Comedy Central favourite and Jack Whitehall support act Tom Lucy, Mock The Week regular Hal Cruttenden, sister duo and Nationwide Building Society advert stars Flo & Joan, Edinburgh Festival sell out Charlie Baker, So You Think You’re Funny finalist Kelly Convey, BBC Live at the Apollo Marlon Davis, 8 Out Of 10 Cats writer Jake Lambert, Jason Manford’s favourite discovery of 2019 Emmanuel Sonubi and star of SNITCH Rhys James.

Thank you to all the comics who gave their time to perform at our event and to everyone who bought a ticket. Your support will enable us to fly another child to hospital so that they can receive specialist care.
