Charlotte Young

Chief Executive Officer
Charlotte leads our Charity's service, fundraising and staff team. She works closely with our service providers and NHS transport teams to manage referrals and organise the logistics of our transfers. She says: ‘Every day I am inspired by the children that we help. When you work for a small charity you interact daily with your service users – there is nothing more motivating than this. We know the name of every single child that we have helped and we are aware of every penny that is donated - because every single penny matters. It is a privilege to be CEO at Lucy AAC.’ Email Charlotte

Amanda Homan-Green

PR & Events Manager
Amanda has been part of the Lucy AAC family since our beginning in 2010. She manages our Charity's community events, grows awareness of our Charity's work through PR opportunities, and manages our network of 20,000 collection boxes across the UK. She says: ‘I love working for our small charity, Lucy AAC, because although we are a very small team, our work can make a huge difference to families who have a child that needs to be flown to hospital to receive specialist care.’ Email Amanda

Rebecca Wilson

Engagement Manager
Rebecca looks after our families after their child’s Lucy AAC transfer, supports fundraisers, and manages our social media and website. She also works with trusts and foundations; providing them with the opportunity to fund our service and equipment, and help us achieve our Charity’s long-term goals. She says: ‘When I talk about Lucy AAC people often say to me ‘wow, I had no idea a service like that existed’ and that’s because, like Lucy AAC, there are thousands of small charities across the UK carrying out vital work but we’re just not big enough to be heard. That’s why I love speaking with our families and fundraisers, seeing their love of our charity and how much they want to shout about what we do.’ Email Rebecca

She says: 'To come to work every day knowing that you’re fundraising to help make a child hospital transfer possible, makes me feel incredibly lucky to do what I do. The work Lucy AAC does is inspiring and I’m delighted I get to be a part of such a wonderful small charity.' Email Carla
